Sales Development Representative

Job description

Are you an energetic, curious, and creative go-getter who’s ready for a role in a fast-paced startup with a close-knit team? We’re growing our Sales team to help us handle the immense demand for our expertise! We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Development Representative to actively seek new business opportunities and engage with prospects within the industry. You will act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams, and use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with potential customers. You’ll be the tip of the spear and the first point of contact for our customers!

To be successful in this role, you’ll want to have previous experience in developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. If you’re motivated and enjoy working in a team environment, we want to meet you!

Requirements

  • Some prior work experience in Pre-Sales, Lead Generation, Sales Account Executive, or similar role (within a software / high tech company is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Hands-on experience with cold calling, cold emailing, social outreach, and other prospecting techniques.
  • Experience working with a CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up quality meetings with prospective Customers and Sales Executives.
  • Qualify leads from the Marketing team and generate business opportunities.
  • Research accounts, identify key contacts, and generate interest.
  • Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails.
  • Articulate This Dot’s business value to decision makers and gauge interest.
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotes and revenue objectives.
  • Report to the Sales Manager on sales results.
